Florida and Alabama's wins over poor FCS teams knock them down and allow TCU to momentarily move into the top spot over Texas, which beat a struggling Kansas team. Elsewhere in the top ten, Iowa stayed just ahead of Ohio State, despite the Buckeye's win two weeks ago. I guess a win at Michigan isn't that big a deal these days. Sigh. Pittsburgh also stayed just ahead of Penn State pending the Backyard Brawl and the defacto Big East championship game in two weeks. I'd love to see a Penn State / Pitt bowl game somehow, just to stick it to Joe Pa.

Conference rankings are posted below. SEC maintains it's lead over the Big East, but UConn's win over Notre Dame and Florida and Alabama's games with weak FCS teams shrink the margin a little.
