Golden Rankings for Week Nine



Some surprises in the rankings, with Missouri not moving much despite getting blown out, and Oregon ranked below a number of one loss teams. The explanation for the surprises lies in schedule strengh. Missouri's loss was mitigated by wins by San Diego State, Illinois, and Oklahoma, teams they built. Oregon's win over USC was only their second of a team with a winning record.
