Final 2008 Golden Football Rankings

Some bowl and final season thoughts coming this weekend. For now, the last installment of our version of the Golden Rankings:




Florida jumps into first with their win over OU, Texas finishes second, Utah third, OU fourth with USC fifth. Vanderbilt and Arizona were the biggest risers in the bowl season, with their upsets of Boston College and BYU respectively. The biggest loser was Central Michigan, wtih their loss to a mediocre Florida Atlantic, and the MAC's O for the bowl season.

In the conference rankings, Florida's win helped the SEC jump from fourth to first. Not much else changed.
